Auto Message
The Auto Message is a short note shown to every user at logon — a single message that any user can change. As soon as another user updates it, the previous message is gone. It's the BBS equivalent of a whiteboard: casual, public, and ephemeral.
In the Classic shell, press A from the Main prompt to read the current auto-message and optionally replace it.
The default module is automsg.
How it works
1. The current auto-message is displayed. 2. You're asked whether you want to replace it. 3. If yes, type your new one-line message and press ''<CR>''.
Only one message is stored at a time. The moment you post a new one the previous message is gone for everyone.
