My first BBS was started in the late 80's as a Play by Turn online game called Windsong running on an Apple IIe, Dual 5.25" floppy drives and a Hayes Micromodem 1200B modem. After a few years, it shut down when I moved from Washington state to Florida. Once setting in Florida I started Split Infinity on a Generic 286 system running T.A.G. Split Infinity went through several iterations over the years until the late 90's when it became Nexusprime and was running a 30 node system under PCBoard and a Novell Lan. We incorporated a SLIP line early on and became the 2nd largest ISP in Brevard County, FL before being shut down by MCI. | My first BBS was started in the late 80's as a Play by Turn online game called Windsong running on an Apple IIe, Dual 5.25" floppy drives and a Hayes Micromodem 1200B modem. - | Over the years II've played with restarting the BBS but was never in a spot where we would be in one place for a long enough time. | + | Over the years I've played with restarting the BBS but was never in a spot where we would be in one place for a long enough time. |
I've recently restarted Split Infinity running Synchronet and am looking forward to being around for awhile. | I've recently restarted Split Infinity running Synchronet and am looking forward to being around for awhile. | ||
