Text File Section

The Text File Section gives you access to text files the sysop has made available for online reading — everything from BBS rules and policies to newsletters, ANSI art, and special-interest articles.

In the Classic shell, press G from the Main prompt to enter the Text File Section.

1. A list of **text file areas** is displayed (areas are groups of related files — similar to message groups).
2. Select an area by number, or ''Q'' to return to the Main prompt.
3. A list of **files** in that area is displayed, each with a number.
4. Enter a file number to read it, or ''Q'' to return to the area list.

You can use Ctrl-S / Ctrl-Q to pause/resume and Ctrl-C to abort a long display at any time.
