TickITcfg - TickIT Configuration Tool

TickITcfg is a configuration tool for the TickIT .tic file processor. It may be used to manage the ctrl/tickit.ini file.

Global Options

Force Replace Force replacement of existing files of the same name in your file storage directories even if the incoming TIC file does not specify the REPLACES verb Off
Ignore Password Ignore all TIC passwords in all incoming TIC files from all sending systems Off
Secure Only Handle TIC files in secure inbound directory only
Source Address Use this selected FTN address for all TIC file processing; NOTE: Overrides default use of first FTN address in the System Address List except Per Area selections blank
Uploader Name Use this name as the uploader name when importing any files into any of your file bases; NOTE if no uploader name is specified, the addfiles default of “> addfiles <” will be used by addfiles blank
Location Use this as the location to store all files arriving on system with accompanying TIC files blank
Links Systems to be force-linked to all FDN areas blank

Per Area Options

Uploader Name Use this name as the uploader name when importing files in this FDN area into your file base; NOTE if no uploader name is specified, the addfiles default of “> addfiles <” will be used by addfiles blank
Location Use this as the location to store the files distributed in this FDN area; this may be one of your file bases or it may be an external directory for files outside of your file bases blank
Links Systems linked to this FDN area; at least your uplink's address should be entered here; other systems you feed this FDN area to are also listed here blank
